Trip to Singapore

I would like to share with you memories of our trip to Singapore in October, 2006.

Together with my friends, there were five of us, I stayed at the condominium of one of our friends working as nurse in Singapore. We were very lucky to stay with her in her place. You know, everything in Singapore is expensive as much as we are concerned, we live modestly... huhhh, so we had lesser expenses by saving money for a hotel accommodation.
We traveled by bus from Hatyai, the trip took 14 hours.
It's a VIP bus tour, 24 seater, fully air conditioned and free snacks.biggrin
For three nights and four days we were roaming that wonderful city.
  • Esplanade Mall, it's famous because the roof looks like a durian.
  • Suntec Mall, Singapore's largest shopping mall, has over 300 retail outlets.
  • Fountain of Wealth, the world's largest fountain with a base area of 1,683 square meters.
  • Musical Fountain (Sentosa), a dazzling display of colorful lights and laser images using advanced technology, no fewer than nineteen water formations.
  • Singapore Underwater World, Asia's largest tropical Oceanarium.
We had also visited the popular Lucky Plaza the "Filipino Haven" yes, you are right! All Filipino products are there, you won't miss the Filipino dishes....yummyyyyyy...http://www.luckyplazashopping.com
We had a great time in Singapore. It was a wonderful opportunity to visit that progressive and booming country. I really enjoyed my visit to Singapore.smile

Here are some snaps I clicked, of course with my old cam, a Kodak !
